Necessary information in this database is divided into three types:

  1. Basic Information: company name, nature, activity, contact method, employment, export markets and other general data.
  2. Production Information: product, material, process, manufacturing equipment, test facility, major customers, quality management and environment issues.
  3. Cooperation Strategy: cooperation method, technical advantage, trade experience and required assistance.

The basic functions of this database are:

    1. The registration and maintenance of enterprises' information based on detailed questionnaires and surveys.
    2. The classification of these companies according to a set of given industrial nomenclatures, such as sector, product and process.
    3. A search of supplying enterprises according to a specific inquiry from buyers and contractors.
    4. Specific matchmaking arrangements between international buyers and local suppliers.
    5. Follow up of each matchmaking arrangement.

Different from other suppliers' databases in China, this database is characterized by three distinct features.

Quantity

In this database, you can find more suppliers with more detailed information from most of Chinese provinces.Currently, there are 3,000 suppliers and this number will go up to 5,000 by the end of 2007.

Quality
For every supplier, we will make cautious selection, in depth investigation and complete assessment based on standard documents and strict procedure.

All these measures guarantee that only qualified suppliers can enter into this database.

Expertise
For the identification of suppliers, we do not entirely rely on this digital database.

In fact, we have a team of professional engineers devoted to the development of suppliers. They can provide expertise and technical assistance to the specific request from international buyers and contractors.
